Start of the school year

Well we are now in the middle of our second week of VPK. Everything is going well so far! We have 31 kids this year (crazy, right?!) but they have all been very well behaved so far! We did an owl theme for our class this year because I have recently become obsessed with all the cute owl things available on TPT lately :) 

This is a picture from our class. I got the idea from pinterest of course!! It was so easy. I just laminated some cute paper and attached clothespins so that we could easily hang the kid's artwork. I attached a label to each clothespin with their names on them.  We have gotten so many compliments on this!!


This is our Birthday board! It looks so cute. I got this on Teacherspayteachers!


This is our "owl star behavior" chart which I also got from Teacherspayteachers. I absolutely love that website!!

I hope everyone else is off to a great start in their classroom as well!! I'll post some more pictures tomorrow :)

    Abby,
    I'm also quite obsessed with owls this year due to Pinterest one TpT! A couple of my kids even said, "Wow, you really like owls, don't you?" A ya! :-) Anyway love your ideas. I'll check out yout TpT store. Check out my BLOG if you'd like!
